In 2019, treated us to a duet of "O Holy Night" performed with his youngest daughter Savannah.

In 2020, we were delighted to share another Maxwell dad and daughter Christmas song. "Christmas With You" was written by middle daughter Aubrey. Not long ago Aubrey was studying and living in France and spent her first Christmas away from home. She never forgot how that felt and when she returned home she wrote "Christmas With You" for her family.

Here is Gord singing Aubrey's original song "Christmas With You".

Here below are short versions of our four Christmas songs to date. The full versions of these songs are available for purchase, download or streaming wherever you buy your digital music.

“Paint This Christmas Blue” is not your traditional Christmas fare. This song was written a few years back by Laurie and pianist/composer Jim Hodgkinson. This is a melancholy portrait of how it feels to spend the holidays without that special someone: that one person who used to put the magic in Christmas. Maxwell & Thain added this song to their "Christmas collection" in 2018. Jim played piano, Gord wrote a heartbreakingly beautiful arrangement and finally Laurie and Gord added the vocals.

Gord Maxwell has recorded a solo version of the popular One Horse Blue Christmas song, “At Christmas We Sing”. Gord was one of the principle writers on this song.

Not to be missed . . . another sweet surprise is a duet by Maxwell & Kaye. Laurie was the primary writer on this song and is thrilled to hear music partner Gord and great friend Debbie Lori Kaye sing the Dickens out of “Christmas Wishes”. That's right, this is the  legendary Debbie Lori Kaye of Tommy Hunter Show fame!!! What a treat!! Take a listen . . .
